SUI TAXI · N HIGH SCHOOL IKEI
N High School Okinawa Ikei Campus
Yonashiro Ikei, Uruma | Across the Kaichu-doro | Large Minivan Taxi
Naha Airport to Ikei Island, in one ride.
N High School Okinawa Ikei Campus stands on Ikei Island in Uruma. From Naha Airport it is about 90 minutes: the expressway, then the Kaichu-doro, a 4.7 km road built out across the sea, then on past Henza and Miyagi islands.
We meet you in the arrivals hall and, where vehicles are allowed in, drive you as close to the school building as we can. We wait with a name placard, so there is nothing to look for. No transfers, no shared riding, and you stay in the same car until you arrive.
The trips this is meant for are students coming from all over Japan for schooling, and the family members travelling with them. First trip to Okinawa, a long way out to an island, more luggage than usual, a late arrival — ask us about a journey like that.
Naha Airport. We meet you at arrivals holding a name placard.
A late flight does not lose your ride.
Give us your flight number when you book and we follow the flight, so that a change in the arrival time is something we can work around. If it is delayed, we wait free of charge for up to 60 minutes from the actual arrival time.
If your flight is delayed after you have booked at a prepaid or fixed-in-advance fare and the actual pickup falls at 22:00 or later, we do not charge extra. The fare fixed at booking is the fare you pay. The one exception is a change you make yourself: if you move the pickup after booking and it lands in late-night hours, the fare is recalculated for the new time.
If the flight is cancelled, we can cancel with a full refund or move the booking to another day. When a typhoon or a cancellation makes the ride impossible through no fault of yours, there is no cancellation fee.
Late-night hours run from 22:00 to 05:00. On a standard ride, the meter’s late-night surcharge applies as usual. Where the whole transfer falls inside those hours, or where it crosses 22:00 or 05:00, we quote the fixed fare at booking based on the hours you are travelling.
— Pickup timing:We set the pickup at roughly 20 minutes after a domestic arrival and 40–50 minutes after an international one, which allows for baggage claim and immigration. The meeting point and the placard details go out in your booking confirmation email.
Four to five suitcases as a guide. Loading and unloading is our job, not yours.
Late arrivals and early departures are both covered.
Room for everything you brought.
One large minivan taxi, up to five passengers, with room enough to travel comfortably. Four to five suitcases is the usual guide, though how much fits depends on the size of the bags and the number of passengers. With a smaller group, a row of seats folds down to open up more space.
A few days of clothes plus what you buy to take home can leave the return trip heavier than the outbound. Loading and unloading is our job.
Where we drop you
Where vehicles are allowed in, we drop you as close to the school building as we can. If the school restricts vehicle access, the gate staff direct us otherwise, or traffic is being managed for an event, we set you down at the nearest point we can stop safely.
If you are staying on Ikei, Miyagi, Henza or Hamahiga, we can take you there instead. Running between your accommodation and the campus during your stay can also be arranged. Tell us the destination when you book.

Airport and hotel transfers are charged at a flat rate by area, booked in advance, with expressway tolls included. Sightseeing charters are based on officially approved time-based taxi rates, with expressway tolls, parking and admission fees charged separately. Where a long transfer is involved, the transfer fare for that stretch is the floor for the price.
Getting there on public transport
Buses do run. Getting from Naha out to Ikei means changing along the way, though, and the service onto the island is thin. If your flight is late, this is the kind of connection that is easy to miss.
Change buses with your luggage, or arrive in one ride from the airport. When the dates are fixed and cannot move, the second is the easier one to plan around.
Payment
We accept cash, credit cards and cashless payments. All major card brands work. Guests travelling from overseas can arrange advance payment by PayPal or Wise.
Receipts are issued on the spot. If you need a particular name or wording for an expense claim, tell the driver before you set off.
Language
AI translation tools are available to assist communication in a wide range of languages. The driver does not speak every language personally, but with translation in the loop, confirming a destination or holding a conversation on the way works well enough.
Before you book, WhatsApp or another text message is the easiest way to reach us. Written text translates more reliably than speech, and details you cannot afford to get wrong — a flight number, a building name — stay on the screen where both sides can check them.
Cancellation
For transfers there is no charge up to two days before, 50% the day before, and 100% on the day or for a no-show. Confirmed flight cancellations and weather that makes it unsafe to drive are both exempt. If your dates look like they might move, tell us early — nothing needs to be final.
