SUI TAXI · NORTH OKINAWA
Michi-no-Eki Kyoda Hub of northern Yanbaru sightseeing.
Nago City | Okinawa's first-ever Michi-no-Eki | Discount ticket counter
Okinawa's first registered roadside station.
Michi-no-Eki Kyoda is located right next to Kyoda IC on the Okinawa Expressway. Opened in 1994, it is the oldest officially registered roadside station in Okinawa Prefecture. For anyone driving from Naha to northern Okinawa (Yanbaru), it is by far the most natural place to pause — the gateway to Churaumi Aquarium, Nago Pineapple Park, Neo Park Okinawa, and Junglia.
The biggest reason to stop here is the discount ticket counter for major northern Okinawa attractions. Tickets for Churaumi Aquarium, Pineapple Park, Neo Park Okinawa and more are sold at noticeably lower prices than at the gate. If you plan to visit several attractions in one day, buying tickets here in advance is essentially free savings.
A showcase of Nago and Yanbaru flavors.
The station gathers local specialties from Nago and the wider Yanbaru region: farm-fresh vegetables and fruit, Nago's own taco rice, Okinawa soba, Yanbaru kamaboko fish cakes, fresh sashimi, Orion Beer products, and handmade sweets. Two particularly popular snack items are the freshly fried tempura and the mozuku korokke (seaweed croquettes) — easy to grab and eat during a short rest.
From the grounds you can see out across Nago Bay, and on a clear day the blue sea and sky make a very pleasant backdrop to a quick break. Because it sits right at the off-ramp of the expressway, it is used as the "first stop" of northern Okinawa for a huge number of travelers.
— Golden rule for northern Okinawa: stop at Michi-no-Eki Kyoda before heading to Churaumi Aquarium. The discount tickets save a few hundred yen per person, and when you combine two or three attractions for the whole family, the savings really add up. Your SUI TAXI driver will time the stop perfectly for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a charter from Naha that includes Michi-no-Eki Kyoda?
An 8-hour northern course taking in Churaumi Aquarium and other stops starts from ¥56,000. That is the price for one Alphard carrying up to five guests, so with five people it works out from ¥11,200 each. Kyoda sits right by the expressway exit, so it works as the break on the way north.
Can we buy discount tickets here?
Yes. Admission tickets for Churaumi Aquarium and other northern attractions are sold below the gate price. Buying here saves queueing at the venue.
How long do we stop for?
Thirty to 40 minutes for tickets and shopping. Many guests buy tempura or local juice and eat in the car as we drive on.
Can you collect us from a hotel in the north?
Yes. Charters starting in Nago or Motobu are from 6 hours, from ¥42,000. Leaving the hotel, buying tickets at Kyoda and heading for Churaumi is an easy way to start the day.
Can we stop there during an airport transfer?
Yes. Transfers between Naha Airport and hotels around Nago and Kyoda start from ¥28,000 one way for up to five guests, expressway tolls included, and Kyoda makes a natural break.
