Ryukyu Village is an Okinawan cultural theme park spread across the lush green hills of Onna Village. Traditional red-tiled houses relocated from various parts of Okinawa line the grounds, and some of them are designated as national registered tangible cultural properties. Within these houses over a century old, you can listen to the sound of the sanshin and relive the daily life of the old Ryukyu Kingdom—a truly rare space.

The park's biggest attraction is the Eisa dance show. The powerful Eisa performance, with drums and chants echoing throughout, is a breathtaking display that lets you feel Okinawa's festival culture firsthand. The dancers' vigorous movements and colorful costumes captivate every viewer. Between shows, live sanshin performances and Ryukyuan classical dance are also presented, allowing you to enjoy Okinawan traditional performing arts throughout the day.

Hands-on programs are also extensive, including pottery (yachimun), bingata dyeing, Ryukyu glass-making, and sata andagi cooking, letting you touch and learn Okinawan traditional crafts firsthand. The sugar cane pressing experience offers a close-up look at the process of making brown sugar the traditional way. About 1 hour from Naha via expressway. The park's restaurants serve Okinawan soba, goya champuru, and other local dishes, while Okinawan sweets like sata andagi and chinsuko are also available. The souvenir shop offers a rich selection of bingata-pattern goods, Ryukyu glassware, awamori spirits, and other distinctly Okinawan items—perfect for finding travel mementos. Ryukyu Village by Taxi

From Naha to Ryukyu Village is about 1 hour via expressway. Allow 2–3 hours to enjoy the Eisa show, craft workshops, and park exploration. The "Central Culture Course (5–6 hours)" ¥32,400– combined with Manzamo (about 10 minutes by car) is a popular course for enjoying both Okinawa's nature and culture in one day. The "Yomitan-Onna Culture Course" combining Murasaki Mura (about 15 minutes by car) and Yachimun no Sato (about 20 minutes by car) is also well-received.
