JUNGLIA The Subtropical Adventure Begins.
Nago City | Theme Park | Subtropical Jungle | Northern Okinawa
Okinawa's first full-scale theme park — embraced by the great nature of Yanbaru.
Junglia is Okinawa's first full-scale theme park, which opened in Nago City and Nakijin Village in July 2025. Using the subtropical jungle environment of Yanbaru as its very theme, it combines thrilling attractions with real nature experiences, attracting major attention from both domestic and international visitors as a one-of-a-kind theme park. Unlike ordinary amusement parks, its greatest feature is the facility design that integrates with northern Okinawa's rich ecosystem. About 90 minutes by car from central Naha, it is rapidly gaining popularity as the newest highlight of northern Okinawa sightseeing.
The park is divided into zones that make use of subtropical vegetation, with attractions threaded through the greenery of towering banyan trees and subtropical plants. Ziplines utilizing elevation differences, rafting-type rides, nature zones where you can observe jungle creatures up close, and interactive programs themed around the Yanbaru forest — the park offers a wealth of content enjoyable by all ages. From children to adults, you can spend an entire day immersed in the nature of northern Okinawa.
What is particularly noteworthy is that the facility's design philosophy itself coexists with "Yanbaru nature conservation." Northern Okinawa is adjacent to the area registered as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2021, and Junglia also serves as a place to deepen understanding of this precious natural environment. Enjoy the extraordinary excitement of a theme park while learning about the magnificence of Yanbaru's nature — it represents a new standard in Okinawa tourism.

Highlights of Junglia
Junglia's greatest appeal is the exquisite fusion of thrill rides and nature experiences. The zipline that races through the jungle trees offers a one-of-a-kind experience of viewing the Yanbaru forest from a bird's-eye perspective. The sensation of gliding at high speed through banyan trees over 10 meters tall is something no other theme park can offer. In the nature zone where you can interact with subtropical creatures, you can learn up close about the ecology of Okinawa's endemic species such as the Okinawa Rail and Ryukyu Ruddy Kingfisher.
Okinawan flavors shine throughout the food offerings as well. Restaurants and food stands within the park serve local cuisine including Okinawa soba, taco rice, and dishes featuring island tofu. Juices and sweets made with Okinawan tropical fruits are also abundant, providing delicious breaks between sightseeing. The shop sells "Junglia" original goods and limited-edition items inspired by Yanbaru's nature. Admission starts from ¥6,930 for adults — a premium price point, but the volume of content you can enjoy all day provides ample satisfaction.

Getting to Junglia by taxi
From central Naha, Junglia is about 90 minutes via the Okinawa Expressway. In northern Okinawa, where public transportation access is extremely limited, a charter taxi is the most comfortable and reliable means of travel. SUI TAXI offers not only standalone Junglia visits but also a "Yanbaru Northern Course (8–10 hours)" combining Churaumi Aquarium, Daisekirinzan, Gesashi River Mangrove, and other northern attractions. From families with children to adult groups, we provide a relaxed northern Okinawa experience in the spacious cabin of our Alphard.
Junglia has been extremely popular since opening, with significant crowds expected on weekends, holidays, and during summer vacation. SUI TAXI offers early morning departure plans timed to the park opening, proposing schedules that minimize waiting time before entry. On the return trip, routes that stop at northern Okinawa's sunset spots are also popular, with flexible schedule adjustments possible based on sunset times.
— Arriving right at opening is recommended: Junglia tends to have long wait times for popular attractions. Departing Naha early by SUI TAXI and arriving by the opening time (9:00~) is especially well-received. Travel in comfort in the Alphard cabin and enjoy the day in the best condition.
