Forest Adventure Onna Okinawa Thrills Flying Above the Forest.
Onna Village | Aerial Adventure | Zip-line & Treetop
Race Through Okinawa's Subtropical Forest from High Above.
Forest Adventure in Onna is a full-scale aerial adventure facility set within the rich subtropical forest of Onna Village. Walking courses strung through the treetops and zipping through the trees on a zip-line add a new thrill to Okinawa tourism, where seaside resorts take center stage. Forest Adventure is a serious outdoor facility with locations nationwide, and the Onna Village site's special appeal is the experience it offers using Okinawa's natural environment.
Courses come in two types: Adventure Course and Canopy Course. The Adventure Course (adults from ¥4,000, approx. 2–3 hours) is a full-scale course linking platforms from several to over ten meters high by tightrope walking and zip-lines. The Canopy Course (elementary school age and up, approx. 1 hour) is relatively gentle and can be enjoyed like a forest walking trail. In both, dedicated staff carefully instruct participants on fitting and operating safety equipment.
The facility is located on the inland side of Onna Village, surrounded by a lush environment of subtropical plants like banyan and sea almond. There are also points mid-course where the sea of Onna Village can be seen through the trees, letting you enjoy thrills and spectacular views simultaneously. Easily accessible at about 50 minutes from central Naha via expressway, the popular course of Forest Adventure in the morning and Maeda Cape or Manzamo in the afternoon—a full Onna Village day—is popular.

Course & Facility Highlights & Key Points
The greatest appeal of Forest Adventure is the "height" and "thrill" unavailable in everyday life. The Adventure Course is designed to clear platforms approximately 10–15 meters high one after another, with increasing difficulty alongside a sense of achievement. The zip-line races through tens of meters above the trees, and many visitors are moved by the exhilarating feeling. Safety equipment including harness and helmet is comprehensive, allowing even those not comfortable with heights to take on the challenge with confidence.
A feature unique to the Onna Village facility is the richness of Okinawa's nature visible along the course. An aerial walk surrounded by plants and birds endemic to Okinawa is an experience no ordinary sightseeing can provide. Since the mornings tend to have more tree shade and are relatively cool, morning visits are recommended during summer. As there are restrictions on weight and age for participation, please check the official site in advance. The Adventure Course is generally for 4th-grade elementary school students and up, weighing 30–120 kg.
The facility is fully equipped with changing rooms, lockers, and vending machines, so participants can come empty-handed as long as they have comfortable clothing and sneakers. After the experience, you will feel a pleasant fatigue along with the sense of accomplishment from using your whole body. Since there are few eateries nearby, we recommend arranging lunch in advance or stopping at a dining spot in Onna Village. SUI TAXI can also guide you to dining spots after the experience.

Forest Adventure Onna by Taxi
The estimated fare for a round-trip charter from Naha to Forest Adventure Onna (approx. 3–4 hours) starts from ¥18,600 (tax included, expressway tolls separate). The "Full Onna Village Day Course" combined with Maeda Cape and Manzamo starts from approximately ¥26,000. Since the Adventure Course takes 2–3 hours, planning with ample time including charter waiting is recommended.
The facility's parking lot is free, but the route passes mountain roads with narrow widths so large vehicles need care. The Alphard driver will transfer you via a safe route, so first-timers can use it with confidence. Since activity wear may be dirty after the experience, having a change of clothes is recommended.
— Morning Visits Recommended in Summer: Okinawa's summer has high temperatures and humidity, leading to faster energy depletion. Since Forest Adventure requires physical exertion, we strongly recommend visiting in the cooler morning hours.
— Advance Booking is Essential: Forest Adventure Onna has limited capacity, and on weekends, holidays, and in summer it fills up quickly. Don't forget to book in advance via the official site.
