PANZA Okinawa is an adventure facility spread across a hilltop in Onna Village, and is the largest-scale activity park on the Okinawa mainland. The facility's signature Sky Slider is a zip-line of overwhelming scale at 580 meters in total length. The exhilarating sensation of racing through the air from the hilltop of Onna Village toward the cobalt blue East China Sea is a special moment available only in Okinawa. The blue of the sea visible from the starting point's elevation and the contrast with the green forest below are breathtaking, and social media continues to be filled with expressions of wonder.
The Sky Slider starts from ¥3,500, which is a reasonable price point given the scale and quality of the views. There are height and weight restrictions (height 120 cm or taller, weight 25-100 kg), so please check in advance if bringing children. The actual slider ride takes about 1-2 minutes, but including the gondola ride up and waiting time, plan for approximately 15-30 minutes. Value set tickets are also available for those wanting multiple rides.

Onna Village Scenery and A Full Day of Adventure
Onna Village, where PANZA Okinawa is located, is also known as one of Okinawa's premier resort areas. From the facility's hilltop, you can take in the beautiful coastline of Onna Village at a glance. To the north lies the iconic elephant trunk rock and emerald sea of Manzamo, and to the south is Maeda Cape, renowned as a diving spot. After enjoying adventures at PANZA Okinawa, the Onna Village Adventure Course combining Maeda Cape and Manzamo is especially popular with active travelers.
Onna Village is also home to a similar adventure facility, "Forest Adventure Okinawa," and you can build a half-day adventure-focused course combining it with PANZA Okinawa. From Naha to PANZA Okinawa takes approximately 50-60 minutes via the Okinawa Expressway (Naha IC to Ishikawa IC). The hilltop facility can be difficult to park at with a rental car, but with a charter taxi there is no parking worry and you arrive smoothly. After activities, you can relax and recover from the pleasant exertion in the spacious Alphard interior while traveling to your next destination.
Whether as a standalone PANZA Okinawa charter or combined with snorkeling at Maeda Cape and the scenic views of Manzamo, the Onna Village Full-Day Course (5-7 hours, from ¥35,000) is also popular. The ability to flexibly build schedules around activity reservation times is a unique advantage of charter taxis. The Alphard (up to 5 adults) is ideal for group activity excursions as well.

Charter fares are time-based at ¥7,000 per hour (¥3,500 per additional 30 minutes booked in advance). Extensions made after departure are ¥4,200 per 30 minutes. Admission, expressway tolls and parking are charged at cost. For charters of 6 hours or more we take a 30% deposit when you book, and the balance is paid on the day. Minimum booking times depend on where you start: from 3 hours in the south and central area, 4 hours in Onna Village and 6 hours in the north, and 8 hours for trips that cross between the south and the north. Where a long transfer is involved, the transfer fare for that stretch is the floor for the price.

A single ride on the Sky Slider or zip line takes about 15 minutes; two hours covers several. Last admission is 5pm, so we work the departure back from there.
When is it quietest?
Mornings. Queues build through the afternoon, so arriving soon after the 9am opening means less waiting. PANZA in the morning and Maeda Cape or Manzamo afterwards works well.
Can we use it without staying at the Sheraton?
Yes. The site sits inside the hotel grounds but is open to everyone. The driver takes you to the hotel entrance so you are not left looking for the way in.
Can we add Maeda Cape or Manzamo?
Yes, 15 to 20 minutes away. A 5 to 7 hour Onna day course starts from ¥35,000.
